The Kunstraum movie
The film shows the diverse forms of expression used by artists and musicians to understand our present and express themselves in it. Important and interesting works often disappear again shortly after their creation, and it is, among other things, an important task of film to give adequate attention to works of art that were not understood or misunderstood at the time of their creation, because "observing the present is enough to be able to state how many experiments are not feasible, how many works cannot be realized ... to be able to see on what an infinite space of silence the voice of the Occident rises" (Peter Weibel in: "What is and what should a sub-history of film be?")
