The series “Kunstraum – Forum der Gegenwartskunst” (Art Space – Forum of Contemporary Art) shows which processes
and questions are connected with the creation of works of art, which
remain hidden from the viewer of the finished work. Neither the artist
nor the viewer knows at the beginning whether it will succeed. Each start is
an attempt. And through Peider A. Defi lla we may participate in the process of the
genesis, because it enjoys a kind of primal
Trust. This is the only reason why we viewers get so close to the artists,
that’s the only reason the “Kunstraum” films are so authentic.
